This policy applies to Tarot With George annual memberships, private readings, physical products and related services. Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights provided by applicable Taiwan law.

Completing a purchase means you have read and agreed to this policy and the related membership terms.

Annual Guidance Membership

The Annual Guidance Membership is NT$3,600 per year and includes:

• Ten one-on-one readings
• 30 minutes each
• Available online or in person
• Member pricing on selected products
• Other member benefits announced on the site

Membership runs for one year from the date payment is completed and activated. All ten sessions must be used within that year — unused sessions expire at the end of the term, do not carry over to the next year, and (absent our written agreement) may not be transferred to another person.

Seven-Day Withdrawal Period

Where a statutory withdrawal right applies to an online purchase, cancellation and refunds are handled under Taiwan's Consumer Protection Act and related regulations.

To protect both parties and avoid disputes once a personalized service has already been delivered:

• Annual membership reading credits are normally available for actual use beginning on the 8th day after purchase.
• You may schedule a future appointment during the first 7 days, provided the reading itself takes place on or after Day 8.
• Where the statutory withdrawal right applies and no individual membership reading has begun, a valid cancellation request made during that period will be handled according to applicable law.
• No reason is required when exercising a statutory withdrawal right.

Cancellation After the Statutory Period

After the statutory withdrawal period has expired, the annual membership is generally not eligible for an unconditional refund due solely to:

• A change in personal schedule or availability
• Relocation, work, or life circumstances changing
• Not using all sessions within the membership term
• A change of mind about the purchase
• Dissatisfaction with a reading's outcome, content or advice
• Real-life events differing from what a reading suggested
• Not having read the membership benefits, term, or usage rules

Where a refund is required by law, or Tarot With George agrees to an early termination, the refund will be calculated based on the service actually used and any membership benefits received.

Valuing sessions already used

The annual membership is a discounted plan. If it's terminated early, completed sessions are valued at the standard private-session price displayed on the website at the time the membership was purchased — not the membership's average discounted rate. The current standard private-session price is NT$1,000 per 30 minutes.

For example, on a NT$3,600 membership fee:

• 1 session used → NT$1,000 of service already provided
• 2 sessions used → NT$2,000 of service already provided
• 3 sessions used → NT$3,000 of service already provided
• 4+ sessions used → the value of service provided already meets or exceeds the membership fee paid

Any member discounts or other benefits already redeemed may also be deducted when calculating the refundable amount. A refund will never be less than NT$0, and a member will never be charged an additional amount beyond the original membership fee. The actual refund remains subject to applicable law and the specific circumstances.

Completed Readings

Each tarot reading is personalized to the individual client's question, background and circumstances at the time. Once a reading has been performed, it is considered delivered. Except where the law requires otherwise or the service itself had a material defect, the fee for a completed reading, or a membership credit, will not be refunded or restored because:

• "That wasn't the answer I wanted to hear"
• "Things didn't turn out the way the reading suggested"
• "I don't think it was accurate"
• "I want to ask about something else instead"
• "I changed my mind after the reading"

A reading offers reflection, direction and guidance on your current situation — it is not a guarantee of any future event or specific outcome.

Appointment Changes and No-Shows

Once a member appointment is booked, that time slot is held for you. Please request any cancellation or change at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment — appointments changed with at least 24 hours' notice may be rescheduled once free of charge.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment, no-shows, unreachable clients, or cancellation requests made after the appointment has started will normally count as one used membership session, since that time was already reserved for you.

Reasonable exceptions may be made for serious illness, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond your control — contact Tarot With George to explain, and we'll help arrange a new time where appropriate. If George cancels an appointment, no credit is deducted and rescheduling you is our priority.

Nature of the Reading Service

The readings, card draws and related services offered by Tarot With George are intended for personal exploration, reflection, and general guidance.

This service does not provide medical diagnosis, legal judgment, guaranteed investment returns, gambling predictions, or any promise that a specific event will occur.

Because a reading is personal and subjective by nature, a client's personal reaction to its content, or a later outcome that differs from it, is not considered a defect in the service.

Account Use and Membership Eligibility

Membership is for personal use only and may not be rented, sold, shared, impersonated, or otherwise made available to a third party.

Tarot With George may refuse further service or terminate a membership in cases of abusive language, personal attacks, harassment, threats, malicious mass bookings, abuse of the booking system, or other conduct that disrupts the normal provision of service.

Any resulting settlement of membership fees will be handled under this refund policy and applicable law.

Service Interruption

If Tarot With George is unable to continue providing the annual membership service for reasons attributable to us, and no reasonable alternative can be arranged, the member may request a refund for services not yet provided. The refund will be reasonably calculated based on the proportion of unused service, the service already provided, and the actual circumstances.

Physical Products

Returns for physical products purchased online are handled under Taiwan's Consumer Protection Act and other applicable regulations. The statutory inspection period exists so you can reasonably inspect the product — it is not an unlimited trial period. Where use beyond what's reasonably necessary for inspection causes damage, contamination, missing parts, or a reduction in value, we may account for that reduction in value as permitted by law. Necessary return costs caused by a product defect or a shipping error on our part are covered by us. Goods or services that are a lawful statutory exception to the withdrawal right are handled according to the relevant regulations.

Support Contributions

"Buy George a Drink" is a voluntary contribution — it is not required to purchase a reading, and doesn't entitle you to any specific reading or product benefit.

Once made, a contribution is generally not refundable solely because of a later change of mind. Duplicate payments, clear payment errors, or other transaction abnormalities should be reported to us promptly for review.

Refund Processing

For refunds confirmed as eligible: credit-card payments are returned to the original card; bank-transfer payments are returned to the payer's own bank account as provided.

Tarot With George normally completes an approved refund within 7 business days of confirmation; how long it takes to actually appear on a credit card depends on the issuing bank's and payment processor's own processing time.

To request a cancellation, refund, or report a transaction issue, please contact us through an official Tarot With George channel and provide your order number, purchaser name, and relevant payment information. A consumer exercising a statutory 7-day withdrawal right is not required to provide a reason.

Policy Changes

Tarot With George may adjust this policy as our services, payment methods, or applicable regulations change. Material changes will be posted on this website together with the date of the latest revision. Changes generally do not apply retroactively to transactions already completed, unless otherwise required by law.
